Hisanori Yoshida: Next up, we have a video from the upcoming anime series Fate/strange Fake! Check it out!

Yuki Ono: Among the myriad Fate titles, Fate/strange Fake features more heroes than ever before. The Holy Grail War: a ritual in which mages and summoned Heroic Spirits fight for the Holy Grail, which is said to grant any desire. Set in the city of Snowfield in the western United States, Fate/strange Fake paints a story of a Holy Grail War no one ever thought possible. It’s been over a year since the preview screening in July 2023, and now we have something new to show you.

In November 2024, at the Fate 20th Anniversary Showcase in Los Angeles, we’ll be holding the world premiere of the Fate/strange Fake TV anime. I, Yuki Ono, am also excited to hear your passion in person.

The world premiere of the Fate/strange Fake TV anime will be at the Neue House Hollywood.

Ono: My name is Yuki Ono, the voice of Saber in Fate/strange Fake. While I’m very much looking forward to being in Los Angeles, it just so happens that I was invited to Houston recently for an anime event. While in Houston, I got to visit the NASA Space Center. It was a wonderful experience and I got to learn so much about aerospace! This time, I’m eager to make even more fun memories in Los Angeles.

You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this moment! It was thrilling to see how everyone reacted to Saber’s lines at the preview last year. The special ended with just a brief glimpse of his voice, and I’m just as excited as you are to see what happens next. As for Saber, I’ve actually read the original novels. He’s an incredibly fun character in the moments to come, but there’s still so much more to him! I’m just thrilled to play him and enjoy the world of Fake by his side. We haven’t begun voice recording just yet, but as you watch each episode, I think that you’ll see how different sides of Saber are carefully revealed. I hope you’re looking forward to this as much as I am.

The newest episode of Fate/strange Fake is set to air at the end of the year! A-1 Pictures is focused on the animation production of this series. Today, we have comments from co-directors Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume.

Shun Enokido: I’m Shun Enokido, director of Fate/strange Fake.

Takahito Sakazume: I’m Takahito Sakazume, also director of the series.

Enokido: We’re doing everything we can to bring the atmosphere and aesthetics of the American setting to life, starting with the visuals.

Sakazume: Our team actually traveled to the U.S. to do location research, and the environment we experienced there, we never could have found in Japan. Even the behavior of each and every person we passed on the street was fascinating to us, and we hope to translate our impressions into the anime. Also, the full story has dozens of times more characters than there were in Episode 0, and it feels like there are just as many pages of background lore to match.

Enokido: Ryohgo Narita and Shizuki Morii have expanded the world first created by Kinoko Nasu and Takashi Takeuchi, and now we, with the help of many talented people, are doing our very best to bring this incredible TV series to the fans. We hope you’ll watch it when it arrives. Thank you for your time today.

Sakazume: Please stay tuned for more news.

Ono: Fate/strange Fake. This is a Holy Grail War covered in lies.

Sally Amaki: Fate/strange Fake has a world premiere in Los Angeles coming up, and we’re eagerly awaiting the news on its broadcast date, so keep your eye out for new information! Check out the official homepage and social media channels!
